Settings

You can access the editor settings by clicking your avatar at the top right corner and then selecting "Editor Settings".

Basic Settings


Base Unit: Here you can change the units used by the Editor. Options are 'in' for inches, 'cm' for centimeters, 'mm' for millimeters.

Grid: Enables the Grid layout in the Editor.

Snap: Enables Snap functionality for the Drill tool or the Select tool.

Advanced Settings

Snap Radius

The radius by which the snap is enabled. The pointer will snap to the closest snap point within this radius.

Intelligent SnapTM

When this option is active, nodes of drill holes will snap to create a skeletonized tang. Learn more here.

Attention: This feature can significantly decrease performance while active. It is recommended to turn it off whenever it is not used.

Drill snap options

The types of snap points that will appear when moving a drill hole.

Basic: When this option is active, drill holes will snap to the same line of two other drill holes.  They will also snap to the y and x axis of any other drill hole.

Equal distance: When this option is active, drill holes will snap to the middle of the distance of two other drill holes. They will also snap to either side of two other drill holes, on equal distance of those holes.

Center: When this option is active, drill holes will snap to the middle, between the two paths that encompass the drill hole, both vertically and horizontally.
